Forster Tool's New CNC Turning Center
Forster Tool recently purchased a Hardinge Elite 51 Turning Center. We have seen an increase in the demand for our Turning operations. Also we believe in continually reinvesting in equipment and training.
Our new Turning Center has a Round Collet (through capacity) of 2" and a Swing Diameter of 21".

Forster Tool Named "Best Supplier of 2007"
Danaher Motion has named Forster Tool their "Best Supplier of 2007". A plaque was presented to our sales staff at the June Supplier Networking Meeting.
In selecting the "Best Supplier", Danaher has high expectations for both Quality and On time Delivery. Danaher has long adopted a corporate "Lean Philosophy" and in their quest to keep inventories low, they require a rapid turn around on all orders. After observing the benefits of going "Lean" at the Danaher companies, Forster has begun implementing a Lean Manufacturing Program. The improvements have been dramatic.
As our program continues, our relationship with Danaher Motion and the other Danaher companies is growing. It's truly a win-win scenario.
Latest NewsNovember 28, 2006 Forster Tool and Manufacturing is going "LEAN". Forster recently received approval for a grant from DuPage County Incumbent Worker Program for a series of Lean Manufacturing Seminars. We have partnered with the College of DuPage and the Chicago Manufacturing Center to provide onsite training for our employees on "The 5S Philosophy", "Quick Change Over" and "Kaizen". This training will be a win-win for Forster, our clients and our employees.
